RANGE RECORDS (LEFT SIDE) AFTER YOU GO SHOOTING

AFTER YOU GO SHOOTING.     (CLICK HERE FOR NEW PRO VERSION 5h AND LITE 4c FEATURES)

01. After you shoot, you can count the rounds that are left and enter that amount in the field REMAINING on the same line of the AMMO ID, which then gives you the amount expended.

02. Or you can enter the amount EXPENDED, which then gives you the amount remaining. Whichever way you choose, everything is properly calculated.

03. Here you can allocate rounds expended to any firearm listed in the RANGE GUNS for each AMMO ID. It is explained in greater detail below.

04. Click on UPDATE to update an AMMO ID in THE AMMO DUMP. You can also click on the 'ALL' button to update all AMMO IDs automatically. Once this is done you cannot easily alter or clear any ammo records in this screen with that AMMO ID number. Any adjustments would have to be made manually in THE AMMO DUMP. This UPDATE button will not update or affect the RANGE GUNS area.

05. If you are not using the AMMO ID method, you can manually add rounds to the existing total in TOTAL RDS. FIRED.

06. This field will be automatically updated if you selected the ALLOCATE option in #03 or if you manually added rounds.

07. Clicking UPDATE will update that firearm's records - adding rounds fired. And, like with the AMMO IDs, you can also click on the 'ALL' button to automatically update all firearms used on this trip. Once updated, these records cannot easily be altered.

PRO ONLY IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are going to add targets or images and add shooter names and firearms used for those targets or images DO THAT BEFORE YOU UPDATE THE FIREARMS! That way credit is given to a shooter for use of that firearm. See the next step. Also note that this step is optional, and not required.

08. Totals for ROUNDS BROUGHT IN BOX, ROUNDS REMAINING and ROUNDS EXPENDED.

09. If the rounds expended in the AMMO ID section match the rounds allocated to the firearms you will see the word "MATCH" in green.

10. Once both the ammo and the firearms have been updated you will see "ALL UPDATED"

11. This is a PRO ONLY feature. It shows any notes that were made in the AMMO DUMP for that AMMO ID. Any changes you make here will also be reflected in the AMMO DUMP.

12. Navigation, finds, and other options.

MANUAL ENTRIES. You can bypass entering an AMMO ID, but all updates would have to be manual. The database will help you as much as possible. Enter as much information as you can after the shot and then click on "UPDATE". It will guide you as much as possible. You can also force an UPDATE just to complete the shooting session.

This new method for allocating rounds fired to an AMMO ID is only available for the PRO VERSION 5 and above and LITE VERSION 4c and above..

If you upgrade from a previous PRO VERSION or a previous LITE VERSION the old sessions will only display the old method and options. All new sessions will automatically default to the new method with all it's features. OLDER SESSIONS CAN  be changed to the newer method with minimal effort. See the video at:

CONVERT ALLOCATING.

01) You will see an "A". click on that to divide rounds for any listed firearm.

02) When all rounds are allocated to one firearm the proper number will display similar to previous version.

03) When all rounds of an AMMO ID are allocated to more than one firearm a check mark will appear.

04) The number of the range gun is now color coded for quicker visual identifying (PRO version only).

05) Click on the "A" to bring up the popover menu to select a firearm.

06) The rounds remaining to be allocated are displayed.

07) Enter the amount fired for any firearm- divide between guns as you need. You cannot go above the limit fired nor below zero.

Clicking on any of these six input fields will clear any previous count entered in.

Remember to UPDATE the AMMO IDs used. If you UPDATE after you allocate your rounds fired the firearms used will be recorded in the AMMO ID notes (PRO v5h and LITE v4c and higher).

09) Click on a gun number to view a SUMMARY of that gun, showing all AMMO IDs and which were fired from that gun. This summary cannot be modified from this popover- only the previous popover.

10) Rounds fired from this gun summary are shown on a black background as in the sample above.

11) Rounds still needing allocating are also displayed and it's related AMMO ID.

12) Click the "A" in the summary to go to the popover for adding/subtracting rounds.

13) You can still enter rounds manually the old fashion way and it is displayed here. Again, this summary cannot be modified from this popover. Use the manual ADD TO TOTAL field by the RANGE GUNS display.

14) PRO ONLY. Click here to get a complete printable report of all AMMO IDs fired from this firearm.

15) Click for a full summary report showing all firearms and all AMMO IDs used.

It's beautiful, easy, accurate and OCD compliant.
