RANGE RECORDS (LEFT SIDE) BEFORE YOU GO SHOOTING

BEFORE YOU GO SHOOTING.

01. Create a NEW RECORD. A range number will be created. Enter the Date.

02. Enter the location.

03. From the pull-down menu select the AMMO ID of all the ammo you are bringing. You can also type in an AMMO ID number for faster entry (the database will help you select). You can clear this entry BEFORE you click on UPDATE after the shoot.

04. The description will automatically be entered (yellow in color for target ammo, orange for hunting and red in color for defense ammo). You can also just enter loose ammo or a firearm name here and do things manually. More on that later.

05. The amount brought with you is also automatically entered.

06. From the pull-down menu select which firearms you are bringing. If it's not on the list you can enter a new name and a new record for it will be created in the FIREARMS RECORDS and tagged as an ALIEN FIREARM (which is a firearm you don't currently own, but is either on loan to you or another person is shooting with you and it belongs to that person). Clicking on the "C" will clear your entry.

07. Click here to be redirected to THE AMMO DUMP and view further details about these AMMO IDs.

MANUAL ENTRIES. You can bypass entering an AMMO ID, but all updates would have to be manual. The database will help you as much as possible. Enter as much information as you can after the shot and then click on "UPDATE". It will guide you as much as possible. You can also force an UPDATE just to complete the shooting session.
